Before your swim spa visit
How to prepare for a swim spa service visit
A swim spa combines a large water volume with pumps, jets, filtration and heating equipment. A little information about access and symptoms helps a service visit cover the right areas without asking the owner to dismantle equipment.

Plan the large installation
Confirm the route to the swim spa, parking, gates, cover lifter and any enclosure or decking restrictions. Clear loose items from around the cabinet and make sure the technician knows about locked panels or shared access. Do not move a heavy cover alone or remove cabinet panels unless the preparation has been confirmed for your installation.
The service options list Diamond at approximately four hours and Gold at approximately three hours; refilling is initiated during the visit and completing the fill may take several hours. Agree the water supply, drain route and refill responsibility before the visit, and leave the water at its current level unless the planned service specifically requires a drain-down. Note whether the large cover, lifter and steps are working properly, as access equipment can affect the visit.
Record the symptoms
Write down whether the issue is poor jet flow, a slow heater, a leak, unusual noise, cloudy water or a control message. Note which pump or zone is affected and whether the symptom appears only when heating or filtration runs. Include the make, model, age, recent refill, filter clean, frost, power interruption or previous repair.
Take clear photos of the display and visible water marks from a dry, safe position. Keep the installation manual and any error-code page available.
- Equipment make and model.
- Temperature and water level when the symptom occurs.
- Which jets, pumps or controls still work.
- Recent maintenance or changes to the installation.
Agree the next step
A service can include inspection, cleaning and water testing; a repair may need parts or more than one visit. Ask what will be checked, what is confirmed on the day and what needs a separate quote. If an electrical, structural or hidden plumbing issue is suspected, let the appropriate qualified specialist handle that part rather than attempting it yourself.
Common questions
Should a swim spa be empty for servicing?
Not automatically. Tell Blue Forge the current condition when booking and follow the preparation confirmed for the planned service.
What details help with a heating complaint?
Share the temperature trend, display message, water level, filter history and whether circulation or jets still operate. This gives the inspection useful context.
Can a cover or lifter problem affect the visit?
Yes. Safe access matters for a large swim spa, so explain any damaged, heavy or restricted cover equipment before the appointment.
